You would have sworn Gi Major was British? She’s not! If the self-proclaimed cross-genre MC sounds like a grime artist, it’s because she’s been building bridges from NYC to London and blends traditional New York rap with the vibrant futurism of UK hip hop styles.
After the album MAJOR MOVES released in December 2020, the Queens rapper is back with the freestyle Like A Lion produced by Casey Orange (Birmingham). Once again, Gi Major blurs the lines and takes us on a trip into her hybrid, dark and vigorous universe.
