As explained, this playlist is a selection and therefore is non-exhaustive.
Charli Baltimore is listed here: https://madamerap.com/en/2019/03/09/charli-baltimore-2/
Whats with these dates though? SNP is from 93’? 😂
Yes. “None of Your Business” is on the album Very Necessary, released in 1993.
Who made this timeline list? I was cutting up … pick-up-on-this 500 different ways in 1988. It’s a song called “Push It” by Salt-n-Pepa……………
This list is great.
But the dates & order are way off.
MC Sha Rock is the first Woman in Rap starting as a B-Girl in the early 70’s & was a part of the “Funky 4 Plus 1” the first Rap Crew to get a Record Deal with their hit, “ That’s the Joint”. She was part of the first Rap Crew ever to appear on National TV on Saturday Night Live.
And MC Lyte got her start in 87’ with the single “I cram to understand u (sam)”predating her Album.
We put the dates of the tracks selected on the playlist, not the dates of the beginning of their career.
Salt N Peppa came out in the 80’s not the 90’s
Yes, but they released the song “None of Your Business” (on our playlist) in 1993.
